Elite Permits of Naples, FL is looking for a Customer Support to join our team. We are located on 2670 Horseshoe Dr N Suite 205. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and hard-working.

JOB CLASSIFICATION TITLE: CUSTOMER SUPPORT

Hourly Rate $17- $20 

THE POSITION

The employee in this class is a very important part of our family. You will be the eyes and ears of our team, fielding customer inquiries and finding innovative ways to respond. Because public contact is an integral part of the job, considerable tact and courtesy are required. Working in a collaborative and engaging environment, you will have the chance to interact with people from all walks of life and no two days will be the same. The exercise of reasonable initiative and independent judgment is required in communicating with customers. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The following duties are normal for this position. The omission of specific statements of the duties does not exclude them from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification. Other duties may be required and assigned.

• Connect with customers via phone, email to resolve their questions or concerns

• Calmly attempt to resolve and de-escalate any issues.

• Escalate interactions when necessary and appropriate

• Respond to requests for assistance and/or possible processing of customers’ concerns

• Track all call related information for reporting purposes

• Monitors and schedule all incoming requests for inspections by phone and/or email

• Monitors and responds to incoming permits and inspections email

• Tracks and records project information as appropriate in the Elite Permits system

• Receive, track, process, and filing of documents

•Operates a personal computer, telephones, copiers, and other general office equipment as necessary to complete essential functions, to include the use of word processing, spreadsheet, database, or other system software. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Considerable Knowledge of: Standard office practices and procedures; Microsoft Office applications. 

Ability to: Work independently and have excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Motivated. Ability to work in a constantly changing and fast-paced environment. Ability to stay composed and objective. Strong listening skills and ability to work independently. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED; any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Customer service experience desired. 

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS

  • Possession of a valid driver’s license required.
  • May be required to obtain and maintain a Notary certification.
