What are the responsibilities and job description for the NY Title Examiner/Clearance position at Elite Title Group, LLC?

Elite Title Group, LLC is a well established Title Agency Firm. Elite is looking for an experienced Title Officer to handle files in PA and possibly Florida.
This position would include:
1. Reading/Examining title searches to set forth objections and exceptions, verifying vesting and encumbrances to title.
2. Reviewing abstract of title, tax and survey information and other applicable documents in their entirety for accuracy and completeness to ensure final product meets defined company/industry standards.
3. Preparing and circulating title commitments/binder to Lenders and Attorneys.
4. Working with local Attorneys to assist in title related questions.
5. Preparation all settlement sheets, disbursement of files after closings, along with overseeing timely recording of documents. Assist with balancing files, which still show overages, shortages and escrows.
