What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Service Advisor position at EliteRV?
We are looking to train or hire the right candidate for a Service Advisor position at EliteRV. Service advisors greet the customer as they arrive at our facility and find out what services they want or what problems they are experiencing with their RV. They also answer incoming phone calls, provide estimates of repairs, schedule service appointments, order parts, and check in parts along with other duties.
When problems are diagnosed, the advisor calls the customer to let her know how much the work will cost and get approval to proceed with the repairs. Advisors monitor the repair work along with the Service Manager to make sure the vehicle will be ready when promised and contact the customer if delays are expected. They may also take the customer’s payment when the RV is being picked up.
Work Traits and Knowledge
EliteRV wants service advisors to be organized. Since they oversee the repairs of several RV's at once, service advisors must be comfortable handling multiple priorities. The applicant should have experience on the models of RV's EliteRV services and/or be willing to participating in training about RV's and the company’s product lines. Service advisors will also be taught local, state and federal regulations that apply to automobile/RV repairs.
