Elk River/Jelco is a small family owned business in Cullman, AL. With locations in Cullman, Elkmont and Brilliant Alabama. We are a manufacturer of high quality fall protection.
We are looking for a Facilities Manager to join our team and help maintain our facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in the maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and systems. Responsibilities include inspecting buildings and equipment, performing routine maintenance, responding to emergency repairs, and providing general assistance to other staff members. The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently.
Experience working on sewing machines is a plus!
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment.
- Perform general repairs and maintenance of facility systems.
- Maintain and repair plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of facility equipment and systems.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
