Paraprofessional - Instructional
Job Posting for Paraprofessional - Instructional at Elkhart Community Schools
Schedule: 6.5 hours per day; 188 days per year.
Qualifications Required: College transcripts showing a minimum of 48 hours of earned college credits or obtained an Associate Degree (or higher), or met a rigorous standard of quality and can demonstrate through a formal state or local assessment (ParaPro Assessment Test); (a) knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics; or (b) knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing reading readiness, as appropriate; sensitivity toward the needs of English language learners. Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position.
Preferred: Fluent in English and Spanish.
