DATA ENTRY SPECIALIST
DEPARTMENT: Clerk’s Office-Superior Court 6
HIRING RATE: Starting at $17.19/hour based on education and position related experience. Longevity pay after 3 years.

POSITION TO BE FILLED: June 19, 2023
HOURS & DAYS OF WORK: Monday-Friday, 36 hours per week
LOCATION OF POSITION: Elkhart County Courts Building
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: None
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for processing and recording data, answering telephone, greeting clients, locating case file information, and performing various other clerical duties.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 1-2 Years of experience in an office environment preferred
- Must be a U.S. Citizen, a resident of Elkhart County and a Registered Voter
- Ability to work alone or in a team environment
- Excellent organizational, communication skills and a sound knowledge of office procedures and practices
- Bilingual a plus
- Pre-employment background check
