What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista position at Ella Cafe?
Ella Cafe, South Florida's only 5 Star Gourmet Coffee Bar and Cafe is seeking baristas to join our growing staff! If you love making artistic coffee, and showing your flair, we want to speak with you! Strong organizational, leadership, attention to detail, and interpersonal communication skills are a must. We are located in Plantation
Responsibilities:
- Properly store items in designated containers
- Sanitize work areas and equipment
- Follow Food Safety Guidelines
- Direct and ensure quality control
- Prepare all drinks following recipes and standards
Qualifications:
- Background as barista or similar position
- Open availability for early morning, late afternoon, and weekend shifts. No late nights ever!
- Effective communication skills
- Adept at performing tasks well in a fast-paced environment
- Artistic or the ability to learn to be artistic
- Able to follow recipes, directions, and learn our way of doing things
