Ellie Mental Health of The Woodlands/Conroe is a highly successful, multi-clinic organization focused on ending the stigma around mental health, filling the gaps, bringing fresh innovation, compassion, and accessibility to our community.  
 
Our structure lowers the administrative burden traditionally associated with large and small practices, providing a more sustainable, leadership driven model as a viable alternative to exclusively remote provider models that often lead to burnout. We are seeking licensed and provisionally licensed therapists to join our rapidly expanding teams. Ideal candidates must be well-resourced, able to show compassion and empathy towards each other and in assisting patients in the discovery and beauty of successful therapist-client relationships. Our clinics are growing rapidly, and we are seeking full-time clinicians in both of our locations in Shenandoah and soon in our new Conroe location. Evening and weekend in person and remote sessions also available and are in demand. At Ellie Mental Health, (https://elliementalhealth.com/) we provide centralized administrative, technology, referral, and inquiry support, scheduling, client/therapist matching, billing and collections, and CEU programs. We provide the administrative support that enables our clinicians to have more time to focus on what they love - serving clients! Primary Responsibilities:
·       Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create, and implement treatment plans, complete ongoing documentation, including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy.
·       For Full-Time status, clinicians must maintain a caseload of a minimum of 27 client visits per week.
·       Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community.
·       Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals.
·       Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol.
·       Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed.
·       Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings.
·       Complete all Rule 29 training requirements.
·       Monitor client progress with treatment goals to determine effectiveness of interventions.
·       Perform clinical assessments to evaluate the individual’s priority population diagnostic eligibility and treatment needs.
·       Provide therapy focusing on the reduction or elimination of symptoms of severe and persistent mental illness and increasing the individual’s ability to perform activities of daily living.
·       Be responsible for participation in formulation of client’s treatment.
·       Communicate and work with clients/visitors/other staff in a manner that demonstrates knowledge of cultural diversities.
·       Meets weekly productivity standards.
·       Demonstrate ethical conduct in all clinical and professional activities.
·       Comply with Ellie Mental Health policies and procedures, accrediting/regulatory bodies, and performance contract documentation requirements.
·       Participate in outreach initiatives in the local community. 
 
Qualifications you will need:
Master’s degree (M.A.) from an accredited college or university with a major in a social, behavior, or human service field, including but not limited to psychology, social work, counseling, sociology, human development, and educational psychology.
  • Clinical license through the State of Texas for one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). 
  • May be provisionally licensed. 
  • Must maintain a valid Texas Driver’s License and be insurable under Ellie Mental Health policies.
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply crisis intervention techniques.
  • Strong diagnostic skills, the ability to incorporate patient history, symptoms to formulate proper diagnosis and treatment.
  • Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner.
  • Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base.
  • Proficient in the use of typical office technology (computers, e-mail, etc.) and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus!)
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide clear, concise, and well-constructed written documentation.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to work autonomously.
  • BIPOC and LGBTQ encouraged to apply.
  • Training in EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, play therapy, disordered eating and process addictions will be highly considered.

  • This position reports to the Clinical Director.

  • Compensation is a combination of base hourly pay, commission splits, flexibility in setting individual schedules and managing their own caseload at a comfortable level, focusing their efforts on specialties from our warm and inviting offices.
  • Candidates can be pre-licensed Associates or fully licensed Therapists.
  • Experience and interest in one or more treatment focused areas, including children, adolescents, teens and adults, couples, families, couples, families, trauma, substance abuse, and schools.
  • A general knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and previous experience with mental health documentation is preferred.
  • Fully licensed clinicians will ideally be credentialed with insurance panels.
