Elliott Advisory Group is looking for an Accounting Clerk who will work closely with our accounting team and clients. Duties of the Accounting Clerk include assisting with regular payroll processes, recording financial transactions, and reconciling various accounts. Additionally, the Accounting Clerk will assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings/reporting, as well as other various accounting related needs.
Our ideal candidate should have at least three years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping environment, excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, have strong attention to detail, and be very organized.
Responsibilities
· Perform payroll functions
· Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions
· Reconcile various accounts
· Complete monthly/quarterly/annual tax filings
· Assist with year-end reporting
· Assist with other various accounting related needs
Skills
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
· 3-5 years relevant experience working in accounting and bookkeeping
· Proficient skills in QuickBooks and Microsoft applications
· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
· Effective verbal and written communication skills
· General knowledge and understanding of accounting procedures
· Strong comfortability in an office environment
