JOB TITLE: Comptroller

SUMMARY: Oversee all financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations. We are looking for a detail-oriented comptroller to maintain and strengthen our company's internal controls. The comptroller will ensure the quality of financial transactions and reporting, develop our financial well-being, and play a leading role in financial decision-making. You will provide senior management with strategic financial input, and oversee the overall accounting processes. You will ensure accuracy in all our financial activities. To ensure success you need to give management sound advice and manage accounting activities with the aim of visibly reducing costs. Top candidates are confident, analytical, and positive.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the financial reporting process, including the preparation of financial statements and reports
Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement.
Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management and make recommendations for cost savings and revenue enhancement across all departments.
Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
Manage cash flow and monitor budget performance
Prepare forecasts and financial projections to support business planning and decision-making
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in financial management
Implementing finance and accounting policies and procedures.
Ensuring prompt and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
Preparing timely financial statements.
Reporting variances.
Overseeing accounting operations such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Ensuring compliance with company and statutory requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Working knowledge of accrual and cash basis of accounting
Demonstrated ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts,
interest, commissions, and percentages.

Ability to manage priorities and workflow
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing

Acute attention to detail
Proficient with Quickbooks Online (required) & MS Excel (required)
