Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Host/Host to join our team. As a Host/Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience. Your main responsibilities will include greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and assisting with various guest inquiries. Duties: - Welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor - Manage the seating of guests in an organized and efficient manner - Maintain accurate records of reservations and waitlist - Provide guests with menus and assist in answering any menu-related questions - Communicate effectively with guests to understand their needs and preferences - Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations - Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner - Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host/host station Skills: - Excellent guest relations skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service - Strong phone etiquette and ability to handle guest inquiries over the phone - Knowledge of guest services principles and practices - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written - Previous experience in a hotel or food service industry is preferred - Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor - Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Join our team as a Host/Host and be part of creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.
