Position Summary
The primary responsibility of a Busser is to set tables with clean linens, silverware, and remove soiled dishes, glassware, and silverware from the tables. Additional responsibilities include proper maintenance and cleaning of side stations, floors, and furniture, promptly cleaning and resetting tables for use by the following guests, and stocking and maintaining side stations for all team members in the restaurant.

Position Summary

Qualifications
- Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and accident prevention principles
- Must be able to multi-task well and work well under pressure
- Must be able to obtain a Food Handler Safety Card
- Clearing and scraping all dishes in the side stations after clearing a table
- Maintain tables throughout service, clearing dishes between courses, and empty glassware as necessary
- Reset tables as quickly as possible after guests leave the restaurant
- Multitask to eliminate work quickly by practicing good working habits, including cleaning up as you go and preparing for busy hours during the slow hours
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Maintain assigned areas to ensure it is kept neat and clean always:
- Follow the sequence of service standards and all sanitation guidelines
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of all tables, chairs, and floors in the restaurant
- Performs restocking inside stations and assists other team members with tasks such as rolling silverware, restocking condiment containers, and cleaning work areas
- Practice sanitation and safety principles while in the kitchen and restaurant, including health code compliance
- Ensure the proper conditions of all equipment and facilities, alerting management when repairs are needed
- Make sure all areas are clean and free of debris
- Provide excellent guest service to all guests and ensure the same for all team members
- Perform guest service duties as requested

- Must be able to stand and walk swiftly for extended periods, bend to obtain items near the floor, carry service trays over their head, and lift up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance
