Your Solution Partner.
We have an excellent opportunity for an RMA Technician to join our team. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for performing electro-mechanical repair/or upgrade on Eurocard based systems platforms and conducting functional tests. This position will report to the Manager field Ops Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluates and determines the root cause of failure for RMA chassis
- Estimates the labor and materials required for the scope of repair or upgrade of RMA chassis
- Identifies electro-mechanical components, installs them and tests the chassis for functionality
- Performs mechanical repair, troubleshoots wiring and tests RMA units
- Communicates effectively, recommends and generates DDR changes on documents where applicable to actual wiring and mechanical build of chassis
- Performs self-inspections according to Manufacturing Checklist
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Normally receives very minimal instructions in performing electro-mechanical repair/or upgrading standard to semi-complex RMA chassis, but may require technical guidance from engineering for RMA chassis with high complexity in nature
- Able to work on assignments ranging from standard to high complexity in nature
- Requires judgment in solving problems and ability to suggest changes and make recommendations for improvements
- Must be able to provide verbal or written comprehensive report of evaluated/analyzed RMA chassis
- Performs mechanical assembly and electrical wiring independently with no supervision required
Preferred Education/Certifications:
- AA/Technical Certification, Diploma in Electronics or equivalent experience preferred
- Requires minimum 5 years experience in related field
