Interim Director of Nursing

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our healthcare organization. The Director of Nursing will be responsible for leading and managing the nursing team, overseeing the delivery of patient care, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead the nursing team, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
• Oversee the delivery of patient care, ensuring that quality standards are met and patient needs are addressed
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Monitor and evaluate nursing staff performance, providing feedback and support as needed
• Ensure that all nursing staff are trained and competent in the use of medical equipment and technology
• Collaborate with the Administrator and other senior leaders to develop and implement strategic plans for the nursing department
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including state and federal regulations and accreditation standards
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date nursing records and documentation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field, Master's degree preferred
• Current RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing management or leadership roles
• Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures, as well as applicable regulations and standards
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
