We partner with Digital Business Solutions development teams and underpin their success through engineering and operational best practice. We deliver reliable and resilient AWS infrastructure that's expanding our automated CI/CD delivery pipelines to empower our developers. About the Role As a Platform Manager, you will provide support, stakeholder management, and leadership to a team of system engineers with multiple product teams for a flagship product. You will be working with colleagues from our global technology organisation. Working collaboratively, you’ll be delivering shared solutions for infrastructure operations across our products and services. Responsibilities · Build and support highly effective DevOps teams delivering cost-effective, scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure solutions within a mission-critical product · Ensure teams are provided with training, feedback and resources needed to exceed individual and team performance goals consistently · Deliver innovative, evolutionary, and inclusive delivery approaches, and adopt DevOps best practices aligning with Agile principals · Line management for a Platform team of motivated and curious infrastructure engineers, including mentoring and career development · Manage and collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve business success Requirements · Demonstrate dynamic experience of cloud architectures and platforms (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes) and understanding of how to scale micro-services using distributed systems · Have experience of authoring CI/CD pipelines and automation elements related to infrastructure composition, deployment orchestration and monitoring · Have excellent organization, project planning, delegation, time and change management skills managing projects of various sizes and complexity · Have solid experience in managing and leading engineers to deliver their best and promoting the psychological well-being of your team · Be able to facilitate collaborative conversations that identify the best outcomes Work in a way that works for you We promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
