Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented 5-Axis CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in programming, setting up, and operating 5-axis CNC machines using Fusion 360, GibbsCAM, and / or MasterCAM software. This role requires a strong understanding of complex machining processes and the ability to work efficiently to produce high-quality parts that meet precise specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and program high-quality tool paths for 5-axis CNC machines using Fusion 360 and/or GibbsCAM.
• Analyze drawings, blueprints, and design data to calculate correct part dimension for machines, tool selection, machine speeds, and feed rates.
• Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces while adhering to international standards.
• Maintain high levels of quality and production standards while optimizing machining processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC programs.
• Collaborate with the engineering and manufacturing teams to improve efficiency, solve issues related to the production process, and implement new products.
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Train and mentor junior programmers and machinists in 5-axis CNC programming and operations.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest machining technologies and programming techniques.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a 5-axis CNC Programmer with a strong portfolio of programmed parts.
• Expertise in CAD/CAM software, specifically Fusion 360, GibbsCAM, and / or MasterCAM.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, mechanics, and materials.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical documents like blueprints, GD&T, and operational manuals.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, CNC Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Certification in CNC programming is a plus.
