What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machinist and Programmer position at Elwood Staffing Services, Inc.?
- Candidate should have relevant experience in the programming and set-up of CNC mills. Preferred candidate will be familiar with Fusion 360, Hurco conversational programming interface and the HAAS fanuc controller for CNC Lathe. 5-axis mill is a plus.- Experience should include close tolerance mill and lathe work. Candidate should be able to demonstrate from past experience complex machining and creation of unique machine tooling/fixturing to support projects.- Varied and challenging work with multiple low quantity, complex part fabrications daily. Candidate must have strong arithmetic skills, ability to read blue-prints and accept verbal direction.- Candidate should have the common tools of the trade.
