ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manage interactions with key personnel within clients’ organizations, including, but not limited to, other Land and Division Order personnel, Accounting, and Management. Manage the acquisition, research and analysis of real property documents and title opinions to determine ownership. Coordinate with Revenue and JIB Accounting on all royalty owner and working interest owner matters. Manage changes in owner information, such as changes in address or banking information. Respond to high level owner/partner inquiries to resolve any issues with regards to verification and explanation of interests in a timely and professional manner. Advise on proper procedures and business practices regarding suspense and escheat accounts based on various state guidelines and regulations. Coordinate and provide requested samples for internal and external audits. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Extensive experience with various land management software systems. Highly knowledgeable with regards to complex lease and title issues. Must be familiar with various State (OK, TX, NM & LA), Federal and BLM regulations and associated websites (OCC, TRR, etc.). Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office required, with emphasis on Excel and Word. Must be goal oriented, approaching multiple/concurrent deadlines with a sense of urgency and drive. Must be a team player who possesses the ability to adapt to new technologies, workflows and processes.
