What are the responsibilities and job description for the Content Writer position at Embold Health?
Embold Health helps each of us find the right doctor, the first time. We accomplish this in two ways - through deep scientific rigor, we measure healthcare providers on dozens of important factors and provide those measurements to our customers for better physician selection. Additionally, we provide the same information to physicians, allowing them to benchmark themselves against others to see how they can improve.
Position Overview
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Content Writer will work with internal stakeholders including Embold’s Executive and Senior Leadership Team, sales teams, and marketing team, to provide content support across our delivery to key existing customers, new customers, and broader Embold growth efforts.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Be a storyteller crafting a wide range of content for Embold’s website, blog posts, direct-to-patient communications, commercial team training, social media, emails, white papers, video, press releases, sales collateral and presentations, web content, client testimonials, webinars, etc.
- Define target audiences, build a deep understanding of, and empathy with, audiences through market research, insights and engaging with the customer base.
- Coordinate and communicate cross-functionally to align content for web, enablement, education and demand gen campaigns, product launches, competitive positioning, and more.
- Understand the competitive landscape and support efforts to distinguish Embold’s presence against the competition.
- Produce SEO rich content for the website and update product content as needed.
- Develop marketing and sales content for awareness, engagement, and demand campaigns.
- Produce and maintain a content calendar that aligns with a continuously evolving product roadmap.
- Understand the stats, statistics, and trends in the healthcare industry in general, and stay tuned in to what’s top of mind for healthcare benefits managers at large enterprises.
- Perform other duties as reasonably assigned.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- 1-3 years of experience in product marketing, content development, or corporate communications
- 1-3 years of experience with a Content Management System (CMS); we use Webflow
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
- Experience in healthcare industry is highly recommended.
- Experience marketing to healthcare benefits administration
- Ability to translate market sentiment and complicated concepts into understandable, human, and compelling stories.
- Experience conducting market research.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics
- Familiarity with marketing technology (HubSpot, Rollworks, SEMRush)
- Proficiency in PowerPoint (PPT)
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Basic to Intermediate skill level)
~ Up to 20% of travel if based outside of Nashville, TN
