Essential Functions
- Spring or summer paid internship working in EMC's Information Technology department
- Participates in assigned research and small projects with the Data Engineering team
- Participates as part of a agile team
- Learns about the different tools used by the Data Engineering team to build solutions
- Learns about the various roles for Data Engineers at EMC
- Assists with updating data engineering diagrams and procedures
- Provides new ideas and improvements to current processes
Education & Experience:
- Completion of junior year preferred
- Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
- Computer science related major
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical ability
- Strong organizational skills
- Sound decision-making and problem-solving
- Attention to detail
