Essential Functions: Collects, reviews, and enters rating information into the system to provide quotes to underwriters for complex new business, endorsements, renewals, cancellations and reinstatements Contacts agents and follows up for missing information Reviews and processes endorsements Develops relationships with agents to promote new accounts Participates in writing new business for basic accounts Education & Experience: Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience One year of underwriting support experience Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Keyboarding speed of 40 wpm with accurate data entry Good personal computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word Good problem-solving skills Ability to make sound decisions Self-direction and teamwork skills General knowledge of insurance terminology preferred Our employment practices are in accord with the laws which prohibit discrimination due to race, color, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, religion, age, national origin or ancestry, physical or mental disability, medical condition, veteran status, active military status, citizenship status, marital status or any other consideration made unlawful by federal, state, or local laws.
