Job Title: Furniture Handler (GAO) Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Furniture Handler in Washington, DC. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist Receiving Unit Supervisor with organizing daily tasks to include, receiving deliveries and distribute materials and office supplies Assist with moving furniture and other handling of materials Assist with IT deliveries and with bar coding the new IT property Support set up of new GAO employee workstations and internal moves Perform daily set up of conference rooms Perform Quality Control checks on service requests pertaining to the Receiving Unit to make sure of accuracy Assist GAO Mail Room with receiving FedEx and UPS Deliveries via security scanning equipment in the Mail Room Log the packages into the GAO RUIS system, print signature sheets and assign RU staff member to deliver packages File paperwork according to GAO policy Send Receiving Unit end of the day Daily report to EMCOR and GAO
