What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Emcor?
This position is to provide administrative and project support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with setup and facilitation of training sessions as directed.
- All administrative functions for the Fire Protection Safety.
- Prepares outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mails.
- Reviews and sorts incoming mail and correspondence.
- Responsible for the planning and execution of all special projects as assigned.
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment and deal with a variety of variables in situations where limited choices exist.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to solve practical problems.
- Prepare and distribute Toolbox Talks
- Provide field with all necessary safety information, tools, and support, etc.
- Schedule meetings, check attendance and prepare site for meeting.
- Assist in developing / communicating Customer specific or project specific site safety rules.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Software
- Background in safety preferred but not required
- Ability to streamline tasks and responsibilities to be more effective and efficient
- Fluent keyboarding skills
- Knowledge in AS400, RCMIS and ACTS
- Phone etiquette
- Email etiquette
