Primary Tasks: Leads the day-to-day activities of the project execution plan supervising a crew. Establishes the pace and the expectations for each job site, manages employees, materials, deliveries, and the job site. Directs the activities of craftsmen, crew members knowing each crew member’s certifications and limitations and gives suggestions to crew using personal experience and knowledge to help them understand proper and safe methods of performance. Understands planning and scheduling, basics for cost control and quality of work product delivered. Monitors job progress, direct crews in accordance with the schedule.
Assigns and manages Foremen, and resources to the work scopes based on level of complexity and the resources’ experience level and will work with other Superintendents to resource load through multiple areas. Monitors ongoing performance of safety and quality systems.
Typically has 3-5 years of Senior Foreman/Foreman experience and 5 years’ experience.
Journeyman License/NCCER- preferred but not required.
Has 5 years’ experience in the construction, maintenance, and repairs of electrical and instrumentation systems.
May also have a CDL A/B and be able to operate the bucket truck and/or pressure digger, trencher.
