What are the responsibilities and job description for the O365 Administrator position at Emcor?
The O365 Administrator includes primary responsibilities for Exchange Online and Exchange On-Premise systems. Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and other M365 applications are also included. This role will act as a subject matter expert on selected areas of the EMCOR M365 platform. This role will provide input for the M365 platform as well as providing input towards defining support strategies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- At least 5 years of Microsoft Exchange on premise and Exchange Online experience, including administering, configuring, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Azure AD, Enterprise Mobility Security, Intune, and other M365 technologies.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft M365 including roles, distribution groups, access groups and security groups including dynamic groups and policies.
- Strong understanding and experience with Office 365 products such as Teams, Sharepoint and OneDrive are required.
- Demonstrated experience in day-to-day activities and support of Office 365 implementations.
- Knowledge of Windows PowerShell and PowerShell script development.
- Experience working with the Help Desk and serving as an escalation point.
- Knowledge of migration from On Premise to Exchange Online environments
- Good understanding of, and ability to follow, change management process and best practices.
- Good communication skills, both oral and written.
- Able to work independently and within groups in a remote setting
Qualifications: -
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience
- Relevant Microsoft certifications are a plus
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work within time constraints
- Team oriented and a self-starter
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple, shifting priorities
- Ability to travel as needed

Compensation Range: $70,000 - $87,000
Other Compensation: this position is bonus eligible
