Assist with Sales Department pack-outs, vacation coverage, and other route coverage in the Maryland, DC, and Virginia area
Assist with soon-to-expire products, and introduce new items
Focus on slow movement items for grocery accounts, deplete Section items, and slow movers with a larger inventory
Track and evaluate store conditions, establish and implement a plan to reduce damage credits in stores
Develop new spaces and new items in independence stores for Divisions 1 and 2 by implementing demos, participating in grand openings, and re-grand openings
Expand portfolio in Restaurants accounts
Support distribution project orders for some accounts, and follow up with the team
Support sales, pushing items, and improve service and store conditions during November-December
Work closely with subcontracted independence store division merchandising team
Participate in EMD’s Trade Show once a year (contact customers), weekly conference calls, sales meetings, and other company events
Participate in Conference calls twice a week (Tuesday- Friday 6:30 am), merchandiser calls and Sales Meetings once a week
Active participation in: samplings, resets, setups, Holiday Seasons push items, Displays, Reopening and openings including ALL Supermarket Chains, etc Special plan to support sales, pushing items, and improve service and store conditions during November
Resolve any problems according to company procedures
Establish a professional voicemail and appearance
Collect account outstanding payments when needed
Confidentiality with all EMD Sales information and documentation
Place orders when needed by the requested time: 3 pm Monday through Thursday and 10:30 am Friday
Set displays and Second location project. Example: Cinco de Mayo, Summer, BTS, Holiday, Memorial, July 4th, Mother Day…
Perform and complete all other duties assigned by supervisor and/or manager
