Laboratory Technician

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing various laboratory procedures and tests to support patient diagnosis and treatment. The ideal candidate will have experience in venipuncture, specimen collection processing, and phlebotomy.

Responsibilities:

- Perform laboratory tests and procedures according to established protocols

- Collect and process specimens for analysis

- Conduct venipuncture and phlebotomy procedures

- Maintain accurate records of experiments and results

- Assist in the management of laboratory inventory and supplies

- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow

- Participate in the development and implementation of new laboratory techniques

Experience:

- Previous experience working as a Medical Laboratory Technician or similar role

- Familiarity with laboratory management and data management systems

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols accurately

- Proficient in using laboratory equipment and instruments

- Knowledge of physiology and aseptic technique is preferred
