Administrative Accounting Specialist

We are currently seeking a full-time, dependable Administrative Accounting Specialist In this position, you will be expected to support the Accounting department in a variety of administrative and accounting areas.
This is a full-time on-site position
Ideal candidate will have:
- High School Diploma (2yr/4yr degree a plus)
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role (5 years is ideal)
- Exceptional MS Excel skills for general administration/accounting
- Proficient in basic Excel functions (Advanced Excel skills desired)
- Advanced computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, Microsoft Office365
- Experience with QuickBooks or related software is desired but not required
- Ability to contribute to the Admin/Accounting team and offer ideas for improved efficiencies
- Commitment to continual learning and personal development
- Experience with a variety of administrative duties including AP, AR, Payroll
- Ability to interpret data and draw conclusions
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Contribute to the team through quality work and acceptable production in areas including AR, AP, Payroll, and General Accounting
· Verify project data including employee/project hours, budgets, expenses, and inaccuracies.
· Review inspection reports to verify targets are met and deficiencies are properly documented
· Generate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and fiscal year reporting
· Review recurring project data to ensure accuracy
· Communicate in a professional manner with coworkers, vendors and customers
· Performs other administrative duties as assigned by Controller.
The schedule is regular business hours Monday – Friday
Salary: $17-$23/Hour - Based on skills and experience
