Job Posting for Facilities Worker at Emerald Queen Casino & Hotel
The Facilities Worker is responsible for providing superior guest service to patrons of the casino by keeping the interior and exterior of the casino clean and presentable during business hours. Duties include emptying trash cans, cleaning and maintaining the restroom facilities, replenishing items such as tissue and hand soap, and sweeping and mopping, and wiping down casino gaming machines. Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the department manager. Starting wage is $15.84/hr, increasing to $16.39/hr at the successful completion of 90 days.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Experience & Requirements:
Must have experience in general housekeeping and ground clean up
Must have knowledge of using cleaning solutions and repairing cleaning equipment
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours
The ability to lift up to 75 pounds
Mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis
Must be able to tolerate a smoke-filled environment
Additional Requirements:
Must be able to pass a pre-employment illegal drug screen
Upon offer must obtain Class IIIB Gaming License ($155 - $200)
Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays
