Emerest Paid Family Caregiver Program (AFL) is a program that helps elderly individuals (65 or older) remain living at home instead of relying on long term care such as assisted living or nursing homes. This program enables family members or friends acting as a primary caregiver, to get paid to care for a loved one in their own home.

Emerest understands the sacrifice being made by family and friends to care for a loved one at home. Through AFL, you can receive direct compensation for your hard work while keeping your loved one safe in the comfort of their own home.

Under the Medicaid waiver for home care, your loved one has the option to enroll in AFL (Adult Family Living) where we pay YOU, the caregiver (you can be a family member or a friend) some of the most competitive rates in the state of Connecticut!
