Buyer Job Description:
- Ensures that all material, equipment and supplies are ordered in a timely manner.
- Verifies purchasing requests by comparing items requested to master project list; clarifying unclear items; recommend alternatives to meet project installation timelines.
- Creates and submits purchase orders.
- Maintains accurate project and purchase order records, handles RMA authorization paperwork with vendors and validates invoice payments.
- Works closely with Purchasing Manager & other Buyers and fills in during planned or unplanned absences and/ or as workload requires.
- Receives and contacts vendors to find out status of an order.
Buyer Shift and Payrate:
Monday- Friday AM Shift
Pay ranges from 55,000 to 60,000
