About The Role

As a Product Manager, Customer Platforms, you will be responsible for working with our Product and engineering teams to revolutionize the process of how carriers and shippers connect and procure freight. In the role, you will interact with a broad range of stakeholders and departments to gather product requirements, deliver an operating plan for the achievement of growth objectives and share progress through the product lifecycle.

You will act as close partner between Product Management, Product Design, Marketing, Engineering, and Sales.

Your Responsibilities

• Execute on a strategy to support the needs of large, Fortune 100 shippers, for both their spot and contract freight.
• Work with internal stakeholders to gather product requirements, and communicate updates to this stakeholder group on a regular cadence.
• Work with senior members of the product to define and execute on a product roadmap for your investment area.
• Work with designers to wireframe designs, and get customer / stakeholder validation.
• Collaborate with engineering to understand technical product requirements and ensure quality delivery of work.
• Coordinate and lead engineering teams' agile ceremonies (daily standups, grooming, planning, retro’s, demos, etc.)

Requirements

What We Expect

• 3 years product management experience, preferably B2B SaaS.
• Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
• Outcome-oriented. Not reactionary, articulates the desired outcome and works collaboratively to create a path to achieve it.
• Able to curate and build on the ideas of others in pursuit of the best solution.
• Big thinking. Should be able to help a small team achieve goals out of their comfort zone.
• Ability to quickly absorb technical concepts and effectively communicate with technical and non-technical partners.
• Experience working with common product tools (such as Jira, Gitlab, Heap, and more).
• Experience working with databases to query data using SQL.
