The Proposal Manager will oversee the entire proposal process for complex proposals, from strategy meetings to final submission, ensuring 100% compliance with proposal requirements. Experience in managing multiple proposals and proposal schedules simultaneously is highly preferred. The Proposal Manager will support multiple sole-source and competitive opportunities for customers across the business unit, with a strong background in federal responses and experience in managing competitive proposals including IDIQs, RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, and GWACs.
Responsibilities:
Drive essential contract acquisition and support processes, with a validated ability to pursue new opportunities.
Develop compelling themes, discriminators, and messaging, either independently or in collaboration with technical and capture personnel.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of marketing, editing, graphic design, and other relevant proposal best practices.
Lead the proposal writing effort, manage the process, and establish a replicable system for the company's growth during rapid expansion.
Manage government contract proposals, including IDIQ and task order proposals, from inception to completion.
Serve as the primary writer for government contract proposals, demonstrating exceptional writing skills and attention to detail.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of government contracting regulations and compliance standards.
Manage a robust proposal database containing templates, past qualifications, and relevant data.
Utilize the proposal database to streamline the proposal development process by extracting relevant information for tailored proposals.
Foster collaboration among team members in an asynchronous environment to deliver services to clients.
Qualifications:
5-8 years of relevant work experience in proposal development, preferably managing solicitation responses for U.S. Government clients, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
Proficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite of products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, and Teams.
Experience with proposal management software, CRM systems, and collaborative tools to streamline proposal development processes.
Experience in proposal debriefs and post-submission analysis to continuously improve proposal processes and outcomes.
Proven ability to lead proposal efforts for complex and technical solutions, translating technical language into clear and persuasive proposal content.
Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
Understanding of and experience with the Federal procurement process and regulations (e.g., FAR).
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build consensus.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
