Strategic Price Manager

Emerson has an exciting opportunity based in Shakopee, MN or Boulder, CO as a Strategic Price Manager!  You will build value by driving pricing excellence, best practices, and toolsets to enhance our price realization through the cycles. The role is focused on implementing price initiatives and driving broad engagement across the organization.

In this role, your responsibilities will be:

• Collaborate and influence broadly to drive price improvement initiatives to successful completion, improving overall price performance.
• Coordinate the systematic rollout of pricing software systems, collect feedback, and implement changes to facilitate realization of pricing strategies.
• Develop analytical framework, tools, techniques, and capabilities to segment, target, and profile market opportunity, revenue potential, and pricing strategies.
• Support marketing-planning and product development decision-making with detailed analyses of market opportunities and financial analytics.
• Quantify and report monthly global price metrics (price realization and capture, discount % trends) using Power BI and other visualization tools to support business decision making.
• Deploy and administer new systems that provide control and visibility in transactional pricing.  (e.g. Vendavo Deal Manager – discount authorization).
• Ensure transactional systems define and capture critical data needed to manage global price.
• In cooperation with WAs, develop and implement front line sales price realization strategies, programs, and tactics. Develop recommendations for incentive systems to drive price realization and behavior.
• In collaboration with agreement managers, support and continue evolution of agreement best practices both when entering into new agreements as well as realizing price within existing agreements.
• Continuously identify new opportunities to use analytics to improve marketing operations and develop new revenue drivers and cost savings.
• Develop ad-hoc analyses for critical business issues that impact program/product performance and translate the analyses into practical recommendations.

For this role, you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or technical relevant field
• Six (6) or more years' related experience
• Legal Authorization to work in the United States
