Description The Knifegate Assembly Operator II is responsible for inspection, assembly and testing of Knifegate valves. These duties may be part of valve assembly from component parts, as well as, testing of valves. Responsibilities - Interpret work orders to achieve assembly and testing of the Knifegate Valves - Follows procedures for assembling products, handling products, equipment and materials per the production department and company’s quality system procedures - Utilize a variety of hand and power tools to perform assembly of components in accordance with quality standards - Generate inspection test reports to meet ISO requirements - Maintain a 5S work environment. - Work and promote safety in the work place - Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Job Requirements: - High School Diploma or Equivalent - 2 to 3 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing/assembly env i ronment of valves - Exhibit good knowledge of valves, mechanical ability and understanding. - Hands on experience with engineering drawings and specification - Ability to read and interpret diagrams and bill of materials - Good Working knowledge and use of hand tools, power tools and test equipment - Knowledge of ISO 9001-2015 - Ability to work in a team environment with fellow employees and managers - Flexibility to work priority schedules and overtime Physical Requirements: - Stand up to eight hours per day. - Ability to work in a seated or standing position - Lift at least 35 pounds continuously - Constant use of hand, electric/battery, and pneumatic tools.
