This position is responsible to manage, guide, and assist in performing an assortment of tasks associated with HLS warehouse operations. This includes providing leadership, strategic guidance and training for the warehouse work force, while supporting special projects and input for all warehouse operations.
| ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS |
- Follow Howmet’s Safety Regulations and Work Rules handbook along with all HLS specific safety requirements.
- Prioritize, guide and facilitate the activities of the warehouse function to meet HLS goals, initiatives, and requirements.
- Oversee the development of standard policies, procedures and practices to ensure customer requirements are met
- Establish and maintain uniform warehouse performance metrics and reporting systems
| JOB RESPONSIBILITIES |
Job responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Guide and direct the warehouse/export crews and plans daily work assignments
- Resolves Tooling, Record, X-Ray Film and Warehouse issues.
- Leads and administers all HLS warehouse recycling efforts
- Drive improvements by promoting best practice methodologies and develops new techniques
- Ensure team development by supporting an active training environment
- Coordinates warehouse inventory with HLS Staff and participates in yearly physical inventory
- Maintains positive customer and supplier relationships
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned
