What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rent Recovery Specialist position at Eminent Property Management?
EPM was founded in 2008 by a group of real estate professionals with a common goal of offering a completely different perspective on conventional real estate services. Based on prior experience, our team knew that generating additional income while providing exceptional property management services would be of great value to any landlord. This concept would later develop into what we call ancillary income management. EPM differs from other property management companies because we not only handle typical responsibilites such as rent collection, maintenance, property inspections, etc. but our team can also focus on instantly adding value with one of our many ancillary programs.

This is achieved by reducing expenses and generating revenue where possible. EPM provides services nationwide, working closely with some of the largest property developers and REITs.
We are seeking a Rent Recovery Specialist to assist our operations team with vendor rent collections, ledger management and accounting processes
What will you do?
- Collaborate with operations team on any oustanding balances on rents and reach out to tenants to collect rental payments
- Analyze, research and review open ledgers to determine adequate cash flow on major accounts
- Coordinate and maintain relationships with multi-natinoal REITS, Developers and Management companies.
What will you need?
- Experience with accounting software such as quickbooks and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (specificall excel)
- Must have rent collection experience within a real estate organization or very similar experience in another relevant role (reading ledgers, analyzing statements, etc.)
- Ability to come into an office at least 4 days a week
- Strong communication to work alongside both operations and sustainability teams along with communication to major real estate firms
