Channel Partner Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Channel Manager to join our team. As a Channel Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with our channel partners to drive sales and revenue growth. This is a key role in our organization, requiring strong leadership skills, technical sales expertise, and a deep understanding of the market.

Job Responsibilities

· Establish and sustain robust relationships with channel partners, such as distributors, resellers, and other vital stakeholders.

· Work with partners to create and execute joint marketing initiatives and incentives to generate demand and boost sales.

· Train and assist channel partners to ensure they are well-versed in our products or services and can effectively market and sell them.

· Keep distributor kits up to date and assure that all distributors receive proper training and support on equipment, software, and service.

· Evaluate and provide feedback on partner performance and suggest areas for improvement.

· Develop sales opportunities alone or in conjunction with channel partners.

· Discover new channel partners and assess their potential to contribute to our sales objectives and market penetration.

· Coordinate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure consistency and efficiency of channel strategies.

· Keep abreast of industry developments, competitive dynamics, and market conditions to identify new opportunities and potential threats.

· Oversee partner contracts, agreements, and rewards to ensure adherence and optimize partner satisfaction and performance.

· Measure and report on key performance indicators, such as revenue goals, partner sales results, and market trends.

· Update and present to management on channel partner operations, outcomes, and growth prospects.

· Manages and maximizes revenue of partner network.

· Represents ECOM America at conferences, workshops, and trade shows.

· Develops distributor kit and ensures that all distributors receive proper training and support on products, software, and service.

· Cold calling and follow-up with inside sales from new sales leads

· Other tasks as assigned by management.

· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

· Ability to work autonomously and as part of a cross-functional team.

· Proficient in CRM software and other relevant tools.

· Strong organizational and time management skills.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in channel sales or partner management.

· Proven track record of successfully managing and growing channel partner relationships.

· Knowledge of our industry and market, including key competitors and trends.

· Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles.

· Ability to travel as needed to meet with channel partners and attend industry events.

· Experience in solutions selling is a plus.

· Any relevant certifications or training in partner management or sales is an advantage.

· Comfortable working in a fast based work environment with a limited amount of guidance.

· High level communication skills, both written and spoken.

· Multitasking.

Additional Knowledge

· Good English skills (written and spoken).

· Microsoft Office suite (in particular MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

· Comfortable learning new software tools.
