Quality Inspector

Job Summary

We are a leader and innovator in the metal manufacturing industry with a product line which includes: stainless steel food service equipment; stainless steel wine towers; architectural stainless; animated stainless steel; stainless steel doors; side lights; door frames; stainless steel entrance systems; fire resistant and fire-rated doors.

EMJAC Industries is seeking a Quality Inspector for our Quality Department.

Summary/Objective:

The responsibilities of the helper include, but are not limited to:

· Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications

· Conducting visual and measurement tests

· Rejecting and returning unacceptable materials

· Approves in-process production by confirming specifications

· Communicating required adjustments to production supervisor

· Approves finished products

· Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs

· Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; managing repairs when needed

· Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following procedures

Job Requirements:

· Minimum three (3) years of experience in sheet metal operations, laser cutting, bending and welding

· Experience reading and analyzing blue prints

· Proficient with basic functions of Microsoft Office

· Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

· Must have strong attention to detail

· Must be flexible in performing other job responsibilities when the situation dictates.

· Good interpersonal and communication skills required.

· Bilingual – Spanish a plus

· Must be able to pass a drug test and background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
