Quality Manager (Corporate)
EML is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to administer our corporate Quality Management System.
SUMMARY
The corporate Quality Manager will execute and ensure the effectiveness of the company's Quality Management System as well as personally inspect and ensure service delivery at contract sites throughout the country meet or exceed company expectations and the specifications outlined by the government. The position will provide management and technical support to project sites and serve as a point of contact to the government’s Contracting Officer’s Representative.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Administers, executes, and continually improves the Quality Management System.
· Manages, monitors, and conducts inspection of services for quality and contract compliance.
· Monitors work order system to ensure compliance and acceptable levels of performance.
· Manages and monitors results of re‐works, follow‐up inspections and corrective actions.
· Manages and monitors customer satisfaction.
· Maintains all quality metrics for the company and the projects.
· Collects, records, reports, and analyses quality data for trends.
· Reports quality trends to the corporate Operations Team and the CEO.
· Assists the projects in administering company policies and procedures.
· Reports quality performance to government’s Contracting Officer’s Representative.
· Interacts with customers, subcontractors, and other project elements to ensure quality service and customer satisfaction.
· Administers the company training program to ensure service delivery is performed by appropriately qualified personnel.
· In the absence of the corporate Safety Manager, administers the company’s Safety and Health Program.
· Assists the Operations Team as needed.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing QMS programs. A high school education (or equivalent) at a minimum is also expected, while a college degree is preferred.
TECHNOLOGY SKILLS
Ability to effectively use technology such as computers and software platforms such as Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, Maximo, and other data collection softwares.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as quality standards, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write detailed reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; and risk of electrical shock. This position requires a substantial amount of travel (air and ground) and stays in hotels. It is anticipated that 40% of this position’s work locations will be at project sites across the country.
