Job Description:
New York State, where Samaritan is located, is now mandated by the State, that all healthcare workers be vaccinated by 9/26/21 or have their first documented covid vaccine. Medical exemptions are being reviewed by our health department. If your traveler is declining the Covid vaccine & does not have a medical exemption we are unable to consider the traveler. Religious exemptions are no longer accepted per the NY State DOH.
Med Surg RN needed 7a-7:30p at Samaritan Medical Center located in Watertown, NY RN should be comfortable Floating to Med/Surg and PCU
Day Shift, 13 week assignment, possibly longer
Traveler must hold CURRENT NY license. Cornary Care experience needed as well
Traveler should have completed at least 1 successful traveler assignment. First time travelers will NOT be considered.
Previous Samaritan employee's have to be gone at least 2 years and be eligible for rehire to be considered. (Contact facility for inquires) Permanent residence of traveler must be at least 60 miles away.
Guarantee 3 shifts per week or 6 shifts bi-weekly.
BLS and ACLS required. PALS a plus! Meditech experience a plus!
