Job Description:
New York State, where Samaritan is located, is now mandated by the State, that all healthcare workers be vaccinated by 9/27/21 or have a first documented covid vaccine. Medical exemptions are being reviewed by our health department. If your traveler is declining the Covid vaccine & does not have a medical exemption we are unable to consider the traveler
Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiation Oncology Technology
Proficiency with most major Radiation Oncology equipment, manufacturer s hardware and software. Ability to comply with on-call specifics.
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
Traveler must hold CURRENT NY license.
Traveler should have completed at least 1 successful traveler assignment. First time travelers will NOT be considered.
Previous Samaritan employee's have to be gone at least 2 years and be eligible for rehire to be considered. (Contact facility for inquires) Permanent residence of traveler must be at least 60 miles away.
BLS required.
Meditech experience a plus!
*Guaranteed Hours are Bi-Weekly
The facility schedules in two week periods. 72 hour biweekly guaranteed for 12 hour shifts (OT begins after 72); It may or may not be split evenly between the two weeks. Work Week The facility's work week is Thursday to Wednesday.
