Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software applications using Java and other relevant programming languages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document software solutions.
- Implement security measures to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct threat detection and response activities to ensure the integrity of systems.
- Configure and manage SSH access for secure remote connections.
- Perform system hardening to enhance security posture.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as COBIT and FedRAMP.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy applications on AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects or performance issues.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Strong knowledge of Java programming language.
- Experience with threat detection and response methodologies.
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.).
- Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) concepts.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Knowledge of industry standards like COBIT and FedRAMP.
- Experience in system hardening techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
