Location – Fort Mill, SC (Hybrid 3 days in a week in an office)
Duration –Full Time
Description
As a Sr. Business Analyst, you will be involved in discussion with Business Users, understand the requirements in detail and review Business Requirement Documents and Functional Specification Documents. You will also guide and mentor a technical team to understand the Business requirement and clarify all issues / queries from the Development Team after discussing with Internal and external Clients. You will also help the team to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with Business users and prospects. You must spend time with the clients to understand customers' problems and find innovative solutions for the broader solution.
Responsibilities
Analyze and Review the business requirements.
Participate in workshops/discussions with Business users and prepare business requirement document.
Review Business requirements docs and provide feedback to business user based on Industry Experience
Work with different Business Users to clarify issues/questions.
Work with business users to finalize /sign-off business requirements.
Develop functional specification documents based on the business analysis.
Review functional specs & help developers to clarify requirements.
Help developers to resolve issues during development and UAT.
Perform testing as required. Help developers to perform unit, systems, and integration testing.
Scope and RAID management must have.
Breakdown of Outcomes into high-level Epics and Stories, writing and elaborating acceptance criteria of Epics and stories.
Work with product owner to prepare product roadmap and communicate stories to the delivery team(s).
Education / Experience
Degree in Finance / Accounts preferred.
Total experience should be min 10 – 15 years.
Relevant experience in Capital Markets / Asset Management Domain should be min 10 years.
Strong communications skills – in handling client meetings, doing presentation and coordinating with delivery teams across locations.
Domain Expertise
Strong business knowledge of various Capital Market (Asset classes, Front/Middle/Back Office, Index products, etc.).
Strong business/domain knowledge of Corporate Actions (M&A, Spin-Offs, restructuring, etc.).
Knowledge of Index Business Process (index's creation, calculation, and maintenance) is an advantage.
BA expertise in UI Projects - Mockup /Wire frame diagrams.
Technology
Familiar with SDLC life cycle.
Experience in Agile/waterfall methodology.
Understanding and Basic working knowledge in SQL.
Familiar and working experience with MS Office particularly in PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Lucid Chart and Word.
