Registered Nurse Covid Vaccinator

Duration: 12 months contract
Facility: Walgreens
Responsibilities:
Configuration of their vaccination station
Reconstituting the Vaccine (vaccine dependent)
Preparing single doses of the vaccine for administration (vaccine dependent)
Discussing and obtaining informed consent from recipientAdministration of the vaccine by appropriate route i.e. I.M injection, intra-nasal, per-oral.
Adherence to infection control practices between individuals.
Disposal of clinical waste as per local and national protocols and guidelines
Demonstrating care and compassion to patients, carers and relatives to help ensure safe, high quality person centred patient care is delivered at all times
Carrying out a range of assigned patient care duties under the direction of the team lead to ensure delivery of a high quality of patient care
Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
Minimum of 1.5 years of experience as an RN in any domanin
BLS certificate
Knowledge of aliment and infection control protocol
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
