What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resale Shop Driver-FT position at Empath Health?
JOB SUMMARY:
Interacts with community members in scheduling, picking up and accepting donated items to be sold in Hospice of Marion County Thrift Stores. Coordinates pick-up and delivery schedule to ensure efficient use of time.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for scheduling donation pickups to ensure efficient routing. Coordinates other donation pickups referred by HMC staff.
- Interacts with community members in a positive, professional manner when accepting donated items to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
- Schedules and completes a minimum of (4) four donation picks-up of donated items per day and deliver to Thrift Stores.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years related experience, outgoing personality, and the ability to interact with diverse groups.
- Must have a current Florida Driver’s License and maintain current auto insurance coverage and have access to a reliable automobile. If driving company or personal vehicle in the course of primary job responsibilities, you are required to have no more than six (6) points for speeding or traffic violations within the past 2 years.
