Overview
We are looking for a AVP HR Business Partners Palliative Care & Advanced Illness Management to join our team. This position will directly report to the VP of Human Resources and is responsible for developing and executing on innovative people strategies that help drive Empatia’s business objectives. This role is responsible for assessing and anticipating people-related needs, making recommendations to achieve strategic goals, and building the necessary infrastructure to advance the people agenda. The AVP HR Business Partners Palliative Care & AIM forms strategic partnerships that bring value service to stakeholders and associates, and will be instrumental in shaping a positive and supportive work environment that attracts and retains top talent, ensuring we can continue delivering exceptional care to patients and families facing serious illness.
About You
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, business, or related field
- 10 years’ experience in a progressive HR role, including team leadership and multi-state oversight
- Strong preference for experience in a value-based care business
- Advanced HR knowledge and expert knowledge in Federal, State employment laws as well as industry regulations and best practice
- PHR/SPHR certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance coverage
- Strong computer skills; excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Dayforce and business intelligence platforms is useful
