Steel Foreman

ABOUT THE POSITION

We currently need an experienced steel foreman to join our TEAM!

You must have at least three or more years of prior metal building experience. We are a Varco Pruden metal building dealer and have built several hundred buildings over the years. We also do conventional steel, bar joist, deck, etc. We currently have 4 cranes, a dozen manlifts, 7 telehandlers, and a variety of other equipment. We hoist every purlin with a crane, which means our guys don’t have to carry them down the frame, and things go alot faster. We are very innovative when it comes to erection and we’ve developed many proprietary tools and methods to make things faster and easier. 

Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of employees, including assigning tasks, providing training, and conducting performance evaluations
- Oversee the scheduling and coordination of projects to ensure timely completion
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate execution of projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the course of a project

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices
- Proficiency in reading blueprints
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Previous experience in contract management is preferred

-Excellent leadership skills

-Experience with steel/precast erection or metal buildings is a MUST. 

-Valid driver's license

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
