The New Construction Quality Control Assistant is responsible for performing and managing all punch out duties on new construction properties throughout the completion phase of the construction process.
This position requires excellent time management skills, and ability to coordinate tasks across multiple people and the ability to initiate advanced projects independently.
- Schedule and communicate with team members, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Manage internal walk through and quality control checklist
- Document, identify, perform, and resolve punch out lists
- Professional communication with subcontractors
- Conduct quality checks
- Other duties as assigned to ensure projects are on schedule.
- Ensure quality standards are achieved prior to occupancy
- General Labor duties are expected (i.e. site clean-up, material handling, ect.
EDUCATION AND OR EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. 1-2 years of experience in construction and the home building industry
SKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE/ QUALIFICATIONS
- Preferred experience in construction
- Basic computer skills
- Able to collaborate with internal team, subcontractors and vendors
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Attention to detail
- Must be dependable and trustworthy
- Ability to problem solve
- Insurable driving record
POSITION TYPE:
- Full-time, week days,
- Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an construction setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight 75 lbs; to operate necessary equipment required to fulfill the needs of the job. No travel or weekends required.
Environment: Work is performed primarily indoors and outdoors.
