Empire Corporation of Tennessee, Inc. has an immediate need for a Traveling Construction Superintendent for projects throughout the Southeast. This is your opportunity to join a growing company offering a competitive base salary, industry-leading benefits, and bonus payouts on each project.

Superintendents are responsible for providing on-site coordination for all phases of construction from planning to completion. They are responsible for helping to coordinate subcontractors, materials, and equipment, ensuring specifications are being strictly followed and that work is on schedule. Superintendents are required to travel and/or relocate for the duration of the projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of renovation projects from planning to Implementation.
  • Perform quality control duties over in process and completed work
  • Ensure the subcontractors are executing and complying with contracted scope of work.
  • Assist with required inspections.
  • Identify and correct safety issues.
  • Maintain a clean and safe project site.
  • Assist with delivery verification and materials management.
  • Work with property management to communicate work requirements to tenants.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship that adheres to original plans and specifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Previous construction management or related field experience.
  • Capable of using a Company provided iPad.
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work in a high-performing team.
